TECHNOBABBLE: Robots killing humans — it's no longer fiction

And when they do they'll still kill people, but they'll kill far fewer people than we do. We're not very good at driving, we get distracted easily, and a robot that can drive our cars for us will lower the number of road fatalities by a huge amount. They don't have to be perfect, they just have to be better than us.
