Drone races bring fans from region to Springfield

The six racing drones resembled a swarm of angry bees Sunday as they bobbed and weaved their way through the first turn of the outdoor course outside Falcon Hobby Supply, 2700 E. Ash St. The drones were being remotely controlled by pilots who were sitting under a shelter on the side of the course.
