The robot arm that could one day assist soldiers and even patients
There's no point in inventing a robot arm that costs as much as a warehouse. To do so, instead of using a heavier and a more expensive torque motor, we used a lighter and cheaper low-torque motor that was coupled with an internal encoder. It also used a speed control algorithm to ensure functionality.
